Felt Flower Pencil Topper

This is a no sew flower pencil topper, all you need is some hot glue, felt and it's a fun little project if you're looking for something easy to do for a back to school activity.

Back to school is an exciting time but it could also be nerve wracking, get back into the classroom with some flair and this felt flower pencil topper and your little girl will be extra happy.

Materials:

  • Felt
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue
  • ​Paper plate
  • Pencil

Step 1. Trace a paper plate on a large piece of felt and cut it out. Then scallop the edges similar to flower petals.

Step 2. Cut a spiral into the felt scalloping the edges as you make your way to the middle.

Step 3. Roll the flower up starting at the end making your way to the middle, hot glue it in place as you make your way around.
Step 4. Cut out a strip of green felt and wrap it around the top of the pencil, hot glue it together as you go just don't glue it to the pencil.

Step 5. Cut out some leaves, these could be done freehand and don't need to be perfect. After I cut mine I overlapped a few and hot glued them together.

Step 6. Hot glue the leaves to the rolled up piece of felt then glue the flower to the leaves.
