Kylo Ren Toilet Tube Craft

This little Kylor Ren craft was inspired by the new Star Wars The Force Awakens movie, ah Kylo Ren, so misunderstood, I hope the galaxy brings him a much brighter future haha! This was super fun to make and I used only a few materials which was the best part. Make this Kylor Ren or any Star Wars character.

- Toilet tube
- Black cardstock
- Stapler
- Black and gray felt
- Silver marker or gel pen
- Red drinking straw
- Tacky glue
- Black embroidery floss
- Hot glue
Step 1. Start by wrapping the tube with a 4 1/4" x 6" piece of black cardstock (you can also paint your tube if you'd like).
Step 2. I cut out some simple shapes for the mask by referencing an image from the Internet then I drew on the details using my silver marker.
Step 3. For the hooded cloak, I cut out a piece of felt like the third image in the collage above. It helps to make a little paper pattern first then trace it onto the felt. Next I began to stitch the curved top with a needle and some black embroidery floss.

Step 4. Once the cloak was all stitched up I flipped it inside out and placed it on top of the tube.
Step 5. Cut a strip of black felt for the belt and glue on gray belt buckle.
Step 6. For the ligtsaber I cut up a red straw into 3 pieces and then I wrapped small strips of black cardstock around the bases and glue all of the parts together.
