Halloween Paper Houses Craft

Ding dong, who’s there? The ghouls, ghosts and witches are at the doorsteps of these frightfully fantastic Halloween paper houses and they’re demanding some candy! Get all three of these spooky houses to create your own instant mini Halloween village. Wow it’s the most wonderful time of the year, well according to me because I love Halloween! I look forward to the spookiness of the atmosphere the change in weather, the spooks, pumpkins, colorful leaves and of course pumpkin everything. I also adore small paper villages and since houses are a huge part of Halloween it seems all too appropriate to display a small spooky village, so look no further than here at The Art Dream to find these creepy abodes to add to your Halloween collection!

Halloween Paper Houses

Paper Houses are one of my favorites and they really are pretty easy to put together, take a look at my time lapse video below to get an idea.

Materials:

• Printer
• White cardstock paper
• Scissors or craft knife
• ​Tacky glue

Directions:

Step 1. Print the printables on white cardstock paper. Cut out all of the pieces with scissors or a craft knife.

Step 2. Score all of the dotted lines with a craft knife or you can use a blunt edge tool like a popsicle stick or a credit card.

Step 3. Glue the walls of the house together then the roof to the top, be sure that the gap is in the front of the house.

Step 4. Glue the entryway to the house then the smaller roof to the entryway. Glue the chimney on wherever you’d like.

Step 5. Glue the two pieces of fence together and bend on the dotted lines, place the fence around the house.

As a little bonus craft project I put together a video tutorial on how I made the spooky trees! You only need a few simple things and you’ll never guess what the trees are made of... they’re grape stems. One afternoon when I had finished my grapes I had thought, ya know these will make cool, spooky Halloween trees for a mini paper village, and so here they are! I think they make the perfect accent and background detail for these haunted houses! Check out my video tutorial below to see how I made ‘em.
